Based on the 27 domestic listed companies which took place mergers and acquisitions during 2003 to 2005 and published as the top 5 on the Web site of the Global M & A Research Center, the performance of M & A was analyzed by factor analysis and paired-samples T test. The research found that: In the financial indicator system to impact of M & A performance, the solvency, profitability and asset composition of the role of indicators were comparatively strong and operation capacity was comparatively weak; The last year, the very year and the next year of the financial indexes of the merging corporations are no significant difference by doing paired-samples T test to the scores of merging corporations; According to the means in paired samples T test, the financial condition after merging changed weakly, which was reasonable to merging companies. Finally, an outlook in this area was taken.
