Low voltage assemblies of switchgear and control-gear comparison of UK and continental European practice

BS5486 Part 1 1986 `Low Voltage Switchgear and Controlgear Assemblies´ is identical to IEC 439-1 1985 which will shortly be accepted as a Euro-Norm (EN). This means that the constructional rules contained therein are acceptable in the single European Market. IEC439-1 is also acceptable in many overseas countries, for example, Australia and the Far East.
