Abstract
This paper presents a dual-band bandpass filter composed of lambda/2 and lambda/4 stepped impedance resonators for WLAN applications. The operating frequencies cover both the 2.45 GHz and 5.5 GHz (5.2-5.8 GHz). The doubly parallel-coupling mechanism is used in the filter design to widen the bandwidth and zeros are created to improve the signal selectivity. Experiment is conducted to verify the circuit performance.
