Abstract :
A method to measure and evaluate the performance of a video camera is suggested. The authors discuss such problems as elimination of unwanted effects of electronic circuits, calibration of the measurement system, and how to obtain the matching values for absolute evaluation of colour differences between original and reproduced colours. They also describe a newly developed digital instrument to realize automated evaluation and graphic display of the results of the colour differences
