Abstract
Implementation of a 3-phase pulse width modulated inverter with controlled current is presented, using a 3-phase bridge based on n-channel power MOSFETs, Hall effect current sensors and a digital to analog (D/A) interface. The current control is performed by a hysteresis controller. The system´s key characteristic is its easy and economic implementation based on commercial components, giving as a result a system that can be used as an aid for the development and teaching of control systems for induction motors or for AC motors in general
