  • Abstract
    The author looks at the modernisation of the Belgian company Intercom SA with the use of a new SCADA system. The system has a local RAM memory, which stores data for a minimum of seven days, and an auto-answer modem for the public telephone. Real-time programs of the TIC software are integrated in the SCADA. The system has many functions including quarter hourly input, tariffing and statistical analysis
