Abstract :
The transfer function concept is well known as an additional method to evaluate the impulse tests of power transformer insulating oils in the test laboratory. Another application for the transfer function method is monitoring of transformers in service. Thereby, offline and online monitoring can be realized. Both kinds of monitoring are demonstrated with on-site measurements on a power transformer in service
