New metering equipment-Norweb´s approval and implementation procedure

The authors outline Norweb´s policy and experience in the assessment approval, introduction and service performance of new metering and associated equipment. Their general approach, has therefore, been to make themselves aware of new products and select those which they consider most attractive. They have carried out evaluation tests in their laboratory, and where necessary on site, and devices with satisfactory technical performance have been considered for purchase. In service reliability has been monitored and failures investigated at the laboratory before reference to the manufacturers
