Abstract
The AC power standard in Japan has been established by the Japan Electric Meters Inspection Corporation (JEMIC) since 1964, and has been widely used as an electric power and energy standard for the electric power supply to industries. The authors describe the outline of the traceability system of the electrical energy standards and the technological trend and type approval regulation of the static watthour meters now in practical use
