Abstract :
A distributed K-mutual exclusion algorithm based on clustering and well suited for mobile ad-hoc networks is presented here. The algorithm is a compound of the Raymond and KRL algorithms with its own modifications. Clustering adds scalability for this algorithm. We present a simulation study that in comparison to the KRL algorithm, shows better performance.
