Abstract
We propose an improved multilevel coset coding scheme. By providing interlevel coding between adjacent blocks, the proposed scheme has a multilevel and single-stage coding structure. The coding rate of the proposed scheme can be increased without decreasing the minimum Hamming distance as compared to the traditional scheme.
