Abstract :
A transient waveform leaving the metastable equilibrium of a flipflop exhibits a very similar shape like the rising amplitude of an LC oscillator in the start-up phase. This paper is used to develop a new approach to determine the start-up behavior of nearly sinusoidal oscillators
