Abstract :
We consider communicating M parallel independent data streams through a MIMO channel, with the data-rates being possibly different and each data stream having a BER constraint. We derive a simple O(M2 )or finding the zero-forcing Tx-Rx matrix pair that requires the minimum Tx power to achieve the BER constraints. We present simulation results showing the power savings due to this optimum design
