Abstract :
A distributed subchannel rate assignment, which uses local information to assign the data rate on each subchannel of the multicarrier networks, is proposed. The proposed distributed subchannel rate assignment can work with cochannel interference and simulates the operation of the centralized subchannel rate assignment so that the maximal rate on each subchannel can be obtained. Simulation results also show that the proposed distributed subchannel rate assignment outperforms the previous distributed subchannel rate assignment in the aggregate rate.
