Abstract :
We report experimental results regarding a tunable fiber distributed-feedback (DFB) laser with an effective phase-shift that possesses a continuous tuning range of 3nm without any mode hopping, which was realized by applying a variable voltage to a piezeoelectric transducer (PZT) stretcher attached to the fiber laser. We describe the fabrication method of the Bragg grating for this fiber DFB laser
