Abstract :
The basic characteristics of electric double-layer capacitors controlled by switching converters are made clear. The operating time, the energy availability and the output power of the system are analyzed and confirmed by experiments. The selection policies of circuits controlled by the buck, the boost and the buck-boost converters are discussed. As a result, a practical design is easier by the information obtained in the analysis
