Abstract
A combination of the generalized multipole technique and spectral domain technique is proposed. It is applicable to electromagnetic scattering in the presence of stratified media interfaces. Only the equivalent multipole sources corresponding to the scatterer are necessary since a Green´s function in the spectral domain includes the interface effect. Numerical examples are given for underground 2D scatterers consisting of conducting material or dielectric material
