Abstract :
Aim of this paper is to study the growth of teams working on offshore and onshore software development projects. The main attributes of the study include technical growth, communication skills and time management while working in different time zones and their financial benefits. During the execution of projects, teams get a chance to work with highly skilled, experienced and professionally sound managers. They control and execute the project using experience and adopting the best industry practices to achieve the goals timely and cost effectively. An online survey was conducted to get the views and feedback of the people and teams working on offshore and onshore software development projects through web form. This survey has also revealed the information regarding teams or individuals working on offshore software development projects which has direct or indirect impact on economic growth.
