Abstract :
The kind of interfirm network is considering the very important attribute affecting new product development. This paper construted the theory frame of the new product development influenced by the size and nodes type of interfirm network. The process of new product development of YOUNG Group is employed to conduct empirical analysis. The authors made the conclusions: The size and the type of nodes of interfirm network have coupling degree with new product development. Huge network size could bring rich resources for the enterprise. Rich type of network nodes could provide the enterprise many kinds of method to develop new products. The dynamical change of network size and the kind of nodes has the influence to new product development.
