Computation of the currents induced on an anisotropically coated infinite wedge

Abstract :
The problem of plane wave scattering by an infinite wedge with uniform, imperfectly conducting faces has as yet no general analytical solution. The author obtains a numerical solution for the problem for arbitrary incidence angle and for uniform face impedances which can be anisotropic. The equivalent electric currents on the wedge faces are determined. The magnetic field integral equation is used to formulate the problem, and a combination of physical optics (PO) and the moment method (MM) is employed to obtain a solution. This technique is essentially an extension of one employed by Burnside et al. (1975)
