Abstract :
The power/ground planes´ resonance will cause radiated emission (RE) in the PCBs. So it is worth estimating the PCB´s RE level. This paper works on the RE characteristics on the structure with its resonance modes. An improved method with a single sum is derived to evaluate the RE of the unloaded structure and resonance-dampened structure with optimal DeCaps, and is compared by the conventional method and reference data.
