Abstract
The rapid growth of ICT-enabled service (Information Communication Technologies) usage in our daily life brings intensive interactions between friends and family members. Benefit from the synergy of ICT and caring service, we are used to accept these novel channels for express our feelings and caring to whom we love. ICT-enabled caring services make our world more warm and feel well-being. In order to understand how these ICT-enabled caring service systems could fulfill our needs and understand the performance of feeling expression and propagation, a measurement matrix is necessary. However, most of current measurement designs are highly focus on the “System perspective”, where the “inner part” of our feelings is missing. In this study, a measurement matrix design is proposed to help service providers to concentrate on the needs of feeling and inner part of an ICT-enabled caring service system. The measurement is design from a synergy perspective of emotion and cognition. The viewpoints of social interaction, collective power as well as the functionality are also addressed. The measurement matrix on ICT-enabled caring service system could support service providers to shape their caring service systems designs and comprehend the performance of the ICT-enabled caring service.
