Abstract :
Goal is an important concept in process of requirements engineering development. In the field of requirements engineering, with the changes of organizational and technical situation for software, goal-oriented approaches have received much attention by researchers and practitioners alike. It has been a new paradigm after object-oriented analysis method in RE. The paper provides an overview and prospect on current goal-oriented research in RE with a knowledge representation issues framework for requirements specification provided by Mylopoulos (1983)
