Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a new DCS scheme that aims to provide an energy efficient way to reduce sophisticated conclusions from sensor networks. This scheme provides an event model for defining sophisticated conclusions as post defined complex events, and provides a task assigning mechanism and a data gathering mechanism for collecting these complex events through the cooperation of the hierarchically organized delegate nodes. The analysis result shows that in reasonable cases, this scheme can significantly reduce the hotspot loads for collecting complex events, while also keeps the total loads smaller than other DCS schemes.
