Abstract :
The scattering from finite thin surfaces is examined using the method of moments formulation for bodies of translation (MM/BOT). The analytical predictions for flat plates are shown to be in good agreement with experimental data. The results for curved surfaces such as the parabolic and square cylinders are correlated with the published results for the corresponding configurations of infinite length. Both TE and TM polarization (i.e., H and E polarization) are examined.
