Abstract :
We report high fidelity phase conjugation via SBS of CW Nd:YAG laser radiation in multimode silica fibre (50/125 μm core/cladding diameter, numerical aperture 0.2, attenuation of 1 dB/km, sample length from 0.65 to 4.2 km). The SBS thresholds ranged from 70 to 400 mW. At saturation the SBS reflectivity was 65%
