Abstract :
In this work; a simple and efficient tuning method of a microstrip shunt-resonator is presented. A gap coupling capacitance can be tuned by utilizing PZT cantilever which is used to raise one of the gap-electrodes metallization patterns. When employing in shunt microstrip resonator, its resonant frequency tuned from 40.08 GHz to 41.25 GHz with high loaded quality factor. The whole size of the device is 2 x 1 mm2.
