Abstract
A new type of microwave lens antenna is presently being developed for possible spacecraft application. The lens consists of a number of sheets of co-planar linear dipole arrays which control the phase of the electromagnetic energy as it passes through the lens. This paper describes the lens, its principle of operation and presents its measured radiation patterns.
