Abstract :
This paper describes a comparative analysis of two different circuit solutions for the ion source power supplies of the neutral beam injector test bed for the international thermonuclear experimental reactor. The performances of the two layouts have been evaluated by means of numerical simulations, in terms of dynamic performance, ripple amplitude and cut-off times; the results are presented and discussed in the paper
