Abstract :
A very efficient and simple formulation for analyzing electromagnetic crystal waveguides consisting of magnetized ferrite materials has been described. This method is a combination of lattice sums´ matrices, a T-matrix of an isolated cylinder, and generalized scattering matrices. The numerical experiments have confirmed that the convergence is very fast and the computing precision is very high. The guiding modes of several electromagnetic crystal waveguides consisting of magnetized ferrite including hole type and pillar type have been discussed. We also investigated the effect of the internal magnetic field to their propagation constant.
