Abstract
Ferromagnetic nanowire (FMNW) materials for electromagnetic and quantum microwave devices are discussed. First, the properties of the FMNW materials are introduced. Next, an overview of the microwave devices based on FMNWs reported in the literature is presented. Subsequently, the spin-torque phenomenon is introduced and the equation of motion for the magnetization is solved for three coupled spin-torque oscillators, taking into account all dipolar interactions between and within the nanodisks. The circumstances under which synchronization between the oscillators may be obtained are shown.
