Abstract :
In this paper, we present a password authenticated key agreement scheme for remote systems. The proposed sheme is built on bilinear pairings. Compared with Juang et al´s scheme and Shieh et al´s, the proposed scheme provides perfect forward secrecy. Moreover, the proposed scheme has a password update option, which enables the users to update their passwords freely and securely.
