Abstract :
The deployment of 10 Gb/s systems has been rapid in the past year and 10 Gb/s optical receiver demand has been tremendous. As bandwidth requirements grow, companies are now developing 40 Gb/s systems and receivers. In this paper, important issues to be considered in designing such high-speed optical receivers are considered
