Abstract
In this paper, a new power divider operating at the center frequency of 2 GHz is proposed. The divider is realized on parallel-strip line (PSL) which is a balanced transmission line. By taking advantage and uniqueness of PSL, the divider outperforms the conventional divider in terms of wide isolation and impedance bandwidth. Unlike the conventional divider, the input port limits the impedance bandwidth, while the impedance characteristics of proposed divider are same for all ports. The divider has 121% -10 dB impedance bandwidth with less than 0.7 dB insertion loss and more than 25 dB isolation in the whole test band.
