Abstract :
High-density, well aligned, (001) oriented wurtzite ZnO nano structure like flower like, rod like arrays with significantly different tip shapes were controllably fabricated by sol-gel technique in powder phase and thin film phase on transparent conducting aluminum doped zinc oxide (AZO) coated glass substrate at 100°C substrate temperature. The detail optical and structural properties ZnO nanorod coated AZO thin films have been reported. Aligned ZnO flowerlike arrays show broad blue emission peak at 440 nm whereas nanorod arrays green luminescence.
