Abstract
The authors carry out research to determine whether dielectromagnetics can be used for stators. A hybrid step motor is chosen for this study. Soft magnetic elements of the model motor (the rotor and the stator), are designed and made of dielectromagnetic material. The motor has a sheeted magnetic core stator and solid pole rotor. In addition, the design of the motor model incorporates the new technology of `transfer sealing´
