Abstract :
This paper presents a blind detection implementation method for the IPR-OFDM (interleaving and phase rotation-orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) system described in Sheng-mei et al. (2004). The IPR approach uses V interleavers to produce V permutations of the input data frame and one novel phase rotation vector called SPI (side phase of IFFT) to multiply the V permuted sequences, and then the frame with the lowest PAR is chosen for transmission. To perform de-interleaving, the receiver must know the interleaving order in the transmitter. In Sheng-mei et al. (2004), the SI (side information) is used to implement it. In this paper, a blind detection approach is proposed to get the order.
