Abstract :
This paper introduces a simple dual- band T-shaped slot antenna for the wireless local area network (WLAN) application, where a T-shaped slot with a rectangular patch feed is employed to produce two resonant frequencies of 2.4 GHz-band and 5.2 GHz-band. The measured impedance bandwidth of the proposed antenna are 650 MHz centered at 2.51 GHz and 640 MHz centered at 5.29 GHz for VSWRles2, and the measured gains are higher than 4.55 dBi and 5.24 dBi for both bands, respectively.
