Abstract
A new planning technique, fuzzy dynamic load dispatching is presented. The proposed approach features the capacity for dealing with several fuzzy parameters, such as forecasted loads and system security, which reflect the significant experiences of operators. In order to obtain an optimal load dispatching strategy under a fuzzy environment, a fuzzy dynamic programming model based on the fuzzy set theory, in which forecasted loads, generation cost and system security are expressed by fuzzy sets, is developed. The effectiveness of the proposed technique is demonstrated by an example
