Abstract :
Teed feeders offer considerable benefits over two-terminal lines for EHV transmission purposes. Conventional approaches-solve such type of problem is not very easy. The authors outline the basis of the fault locator on a teed feeder. Results show high degree of accuracy attained in fault location for untransposed lines under various system and fault conditions in practical 400 kV applications
