Abstract :
The new cross semi-ring monopole antenna and band-rejected cross semi-ring monopole antenna have been proposed and implemented. The frequency-notch function is obtained by adding four L-shaped slot in the radiating disc. This novel design also has compact size. Experimental results show that the proposed antennas have appropriate UWB performance and could be good candidates for practical UWB applications.
