Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a novel design of enhancement bandwidth and band- rejection function for small open slot antenna. The measured and simulated results show that the proposed design has a very wide impedance bandwidth of 130% (from 2.3 to 10.9 GHz) and a band-rejected characteristic. The proposed method also has a very simply structure and proves to be a good candidate for low-cost small open slot antenna. Furthermore utilizing the open slot antenna structure, the proposed antenna design is easy to be embedded into the mobile devices.
