Abstract :
This paper presents the results and analysis of an extensive on-body radio channel propagation measurement program at Telecommunications Research Labs which is part of their ultra low-power wireless personal area network design project. A measurement platform is presented which can capture broadband (400 MHz) channel impulse responses at 2.4 GHz with SNRs of 50 dB or more. Analysis of path loss, RMS delay spread, and excess delay are provided for many different environments in LOS, NLOS and cross polarized channels
