Abstract :
The paper introduces the novel variable angle control strategy of the switched reluctance motor drive at four quadrants. The input control parameters, the output control parameter and the fuzzy control strategy are described. The language parameter, the domain and the subordinate relationship of the deviation of the rotor speed, the variation from the deviation of the rotor speed and the increment of the duty ratio of the PWM signal are given. The control pattern and the decision form of the fuzzy control are also presented. The hardware of the prototype, such as the structure of the rotor position detector with the slotted disk and the transducers are introduced with the output signals of the rotor position detector. The prototype adopted the novel control strategy is tested experimentally. The measured systematical efficiency, the measured phase current peak value, the measured waveform of the phase current and the measured rotor speed curve at the different given rotor speed are also given.
