Abstract :
The authors present a decentralized design method suitable for the load-frequency control of multi-area interconnected power systems. Model reduction techniques are incorporated into the design method. A four area interconnected power system is taken as an example to illustrate the method. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed design method
