Abstract :
This paper proposes a matrix transform method for wavelet decomposition and reconstruction with arbitrary decomposition depth, constructs the decomposition and reconstruction base vectors of 9/7 wavelets. The performance of FRIT (finite ridgelet transform) is improved by means of folded blocking and adding zero rows, so that the base vectors of wavelet transform could be directly applied into FRIT. Thus, the algorithm can be simplified significantly. Simulation has shown that the performance of this algorithm is better than that of FRIT in denoising images with linear singularities
