Abstract
A beam adjustable antenna made up of a slitted waveguide and a dielectric slab was theoretically and experimentally presented in this paper. Transverse resonance technique, 3D simulation and experimental chamber test were employed to find the antenna main beam radiation angle and its pattern. Fairly good agreements among the above results verified this beam-steering mechanism. Up to 23deg beam-steering angle can be achieved at Ku-band operating frequency.
