Abstract :
This report has discussed the radiation characteristics of CDLA. It has been revealed that the bandwidth and gain of CDLA composed of one wavelength loop and matching section has depend on its feeding position. The input impedance set to 200Omega has displayed the wide band characteristic and the impedance set to 50Omega has shown comparably high gain in spite of narrow bandwidth. The design method mentioned has been valid for limited space setting. It has been confirmed that the CDLA has been also effective as a portable antenna fabricated easily since the changes of impedance to the feed position has not been steep. The planar type of CDLA has been remained as the future application.
