Abstract :
This paper is concerned with the control of bifurcation and chaos in voltage controlled buck converter, which is a piecewise-smooth dynamical system. By taking the advantage of the OGY method, a two-parameter control strategy is put forward. It prevents the system from losing stability due to the error in obtaining the unstable periodic orbit (UPO) while OGY method is applied. An application to a simple voltage controlled boost converter is also presented.
