Abstract
This paper presents design of the slot array for grating lobe suppression. The slots arrayed at the center of the radiating waveguide are excited by the inductive wall, while the reflection from each slot is canceled out by the capacitive wall. Slot coupling and the condition of the reflection canceling are analyzed by using Ansoft HFSS. Then, the 16-slot array is designed at 25.33 GHz. Uniform aperture distribution and broadside radiation of the array is confirmed.
